Lauren Thomas is a Maryland employment and civil rights lawyer. Lauren practices in every Maryland state Circuit and District court, as well as the federal U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Lauren litigates a wide variety of cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage theft cases. Lauren has earned a reputation for achieving excellent settlements that compensate clients for the harm they've suffered—while holding employers accountable for their violations of Maryland employment laws.
Prior to joining ELC, Lauren litigated civil insurance claims on behalf of some of the nation's largest corporations, which gives her a unique insight into large employers' strategies in her cases at ELC.
Lauren lives in the Frederick, Maryland area, and volunteers her time with an animal rescue organization. She is a proud cat mom to several rescues herself.
